2020 International Conference on the Cooperation of Industry, Education, Research and Application was hosted by Jilin University on 15th September, 2020, and College of Earth Sciences undertook the Forum on Earth Science Theory and Technological Innovation on 17th September, 2020. There were 7 experts and scholars from the University of Manchester, the University of Queensland, Far Eastern Federal University and Mongolian University of Science and Technology invited to attend the meeting through Tencent Meeting. Also 6 experts and scholars from College of Earth Sciences who are interested in Quaternary Geology, Land Resources Management and Mineral Resource Prospecting and Exploration were attending the conference. Professor Shan Xuanlong, Dean of the College of Earth Sciences, chaired the conference at the time.

Professor Shan Xuanlong firstly gave warm welcome and thanks to foreign experts and scholars, and introduced participants from both sides. The foreign participants had a deep friendship and long-term scientific research cooperation with College of Earth Sciences in the past few years, they had been invited to Jilin University for many times.
